Clip Box's interface has been created from scratch and pushes the dark, modern design to the max while remaining intuitive and easy to use. The code is optimized. Viewing and searching for videos is faster than ever.
Clip Box uses SQLite, the reference in terms of database stability and performance. SQLite is the most used database in the world.
Video clips are stored in simple folders which can be spread over multiple disks. You can view previews and edit data even if the disc containing the original is not plugged in.
The source code of Clip Box is written with Xojo, a powerful, modern and kept up to date framework.
Clip Box uses an advanced hierarchical labelling system. Labels can be exclusive or inclusive, so you can decide whether a clip can be assigned one or the other tag or both. A labelling assistant makes tagging easy.
Clip Box allows you to define an ultra complex search with a few clicks, combining the criteria of name, information, labels applied or not applied, play time, resolution, and so an. You can search for orphan videos, unreferenced videos, and similar videos. The speed of finding similar videos based on the content and not the bits of the file is unprecedented.
